"Isn’t art a therapy in order to be able to express one’s feelings and emotions? To be between two states, to not go beyond certain boundaries or limits. Everything is a matter of perception and feeling. The borders that live in us are sometimes as difficult to cross as customs controls. We sometimes lack of courage, just as we refuse a visa application.
Some resist, others let go. Some remain, others soar. "Borderlines" is the meeting of two worlds: the worlds of Laura Jay Nethercott, photographer, and Arnaud Pitz, Visual artist. Laura followed the dreamlike performance of drag queens and Arnaud portrays imaginary borders. The artists and drag queens from 'Chez Maman' will be present during the opening. "
OPENING NIGHT: Wednesday May 3rd from 6 to 9pm
